In November 1996, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) introduced a mobile version of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. This replica, unveiled on Veterans Day, was created to bring the Memorial's powerful message to communities across America. Since its first tour, The Wall That Heals has visited hundreds of locations, allowing millions to connect with its enduring legacy.
This traveling Memorial brings the names etched into its surface back to the neighborhoods, families, and friends of those who served. It offers an exact 3/4 scale replica of the iconic Wall and a mobile Education Center. Together, they foster understanding, remembrance, and connection for all who visit. We will be hosting The Wall That Heals at La Salle Institute in Troy, NY from June 5th through June 8th, 2025. It's free and open to the public. We highly encourage you to come and show your support! Please note: The Wall That heals, along with the Mobile Education Center closes at 2:00 p.m. on June 8.
